On August 15, 2026, Max surprised Emma with a proposal at Taylor Point Lookout in Jamestown, Rhode Island. With the water surrounding them and evening light settling in, the atmosphere felt magical.
After capturing portraits, we said said our goodbyes where I secretly made my way to The Chanler Hotel in Newport. Here, Emma’s family were waiting. Champagne, embraces, and laughter followed as they celebrated the newly engaged couple together.
But the evening still had one final chapter.
I then headed to Stoneacre Garden, where their closest friends and extended family were waiting excitedly. As Emma and Max walked down the cobblestone path, surrounded by those they love, this evening became something far greater than a proposal. It became a celebration of their story and those who continue to surround them in each chapter ahead.
From the intimacy of a proposal overlooking the water to a Newport evening overflowing with friends, every moment became much more meaningful. It was an honor to preserve an evening they will carry with them for a lifetime.
